Copper Reducing Tee

Copper Reducing Tee – High Pressure

The Copper Reducing Tee is a durable, high-pressure fitting designed to create a 90° branch connection from the main pipeline. With unequal end sizes, it allows for smooth transitions between different copper pipe diameters, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in plumbing and gas installations.

When ordering reducing tees, the branch size is always listed last. For example, a 40 x 40 x 32 tee means a 32mm branch is created off a 40mm main line.

Manufactured from premium-grade copper and compliant with AS 3688 and AS 1432, these fittings are designed for strength, safety, and long service life. Suitable for potable water (AS/NZS 4020 compliant), gas, and general plumbing, they deliver excellent corrosion resistance and consistent pressure performance.

When used with Type B copper tube, fittings can achieve a working pressure of 3500–5290kPa (depending on size). The installation requires silver brazing alloy in compliance with AS 1167.1.

Key Features:

  • Creates a 90° branch connection with reduced size outlet
  • Manufactured from high-quality copper
  • Complies with AS 3688 & AS 1432
  • Suitable for potable water & gas systems (AS/NZS 4020)
  • High corrosion resistance and long-term durability
  • Requires silver brazing alloy for installation (AS 1167.1)
  • Maximum working pressure: 2000kPa
  • Maximum working temperature: 80°C
  • Recyclable, vermin-proof, and fire-resistant material

Note: Must be installed by a licensed plumber when connected to mains water or gas systems.
